After several months of careful preparation and planning the new Newcastle Fencing & Sports Trust website has been launched, coincidentally at the same time as lock-down restrictions started to ease. The result has been wonderful; a steady stream of enquiries for the variety of events being staged in the Fencing Centre. The first beginners youth fencing course was over-subscribed so a second course is in planning. Meanwhile, group sessions for junior air pistol shooting are available, along with an air pistol training day for more experienced shooters. The picture shows new recruits queuing outside the Fencing Centre on 17 May at the start of the beginners course.
